"Are you on the top of your list?"

We all have lists. Lists of groceries, lists of errands to do and phone calls to make.

One of the things I often ask my clients is "Where are you on the list?". The response I usually get is a puzzled - WHAT?

Then I have to explain - "I'm talking about you. Where are you on the list?"

You're not alone if you're on the bottom of the list. In fact, maybe you are not on the list at all!

Somewhere after keeping the house running, taking care of the family, saying yes to your friends and your volunteer work
....somewhere after ALL of that...is YOU!

The thought of taking any time for yourself makes you feel selfish because there is always something else you "should" be doing.

My "brilliant" tip?

Start taking 10 minutes a day for yourself.

Whether you have to get up earlier, take a walk at a lunch break, or fit it in after dinner, start by taking 10 minutes just for you. Do something to re-fuel yourself. Walk, run, journal, meditate, read a book, have a cup of coffee or a bit of chocolate.
